Foreign Relations & Diplomacy

The Global Diplomatic Voice of the Hye Diaspora Congress

Purpose

To serve as the official diplomatic and external relations arm of the Hye Diaspora Congress, representing the interests, priorities, and perspectives of the global Armenian diaspora in relations with governments, diplomatic missions, and international partners.

Mission

To engage constructively and professionally with foreign governments, diplomatic institutions, and international partners in order to advance Armenian diaspora interests through dialogue, diplomacy, and long-term relationship building, consistent with international norms and the Congress’s strategic objectives.

Vision

A globally respected Armenian diaspora that operates as a credible diplomatic actor, capable of building partnerships, influencing dialogue, and contributing to international cooperation with legitimacy and professionalism.

Why This Department Matters

In today’s world, diasporas are not only cultural communities—they are strategic international actors.

Without coordinated diplomacy:

  • Armenian voices remain fragmented
  • Relationships depend on individuals rather than institutions
  • Long-term influence is weakened

This department ensures that the Hye Diaspora Congress speaks with one clear, consistent, and respected diplomatic voice on the global stage.

Diplomacy transforms presence into influence.
