President’s Message

My dear Armenian brothers and sisters across the world,

We stand today at the edge of a new era—an era not defined by the wounds of our past, but by the limitless potential of our future. For centuries, we have endured trials that would have broken other nations. We have carried the weight of exile, the pain of loss, and the scars of injustice. Yet, like the mountains of our homeland, we have stood unshaken. We have rebuilt, we have persevered, and we have never forgotten who we are.

To every Armenian who came before us—those who defended our land at Sardarapat, those who perished in the Genocide, those who rebuilt our communities from nothing, and those who gave their lives in Artsakh—I bow my head in deepest respect. You are the unbroken chain of our people’s survival. Your sacrifice is the foundation upon which we now rise.

Today, we are called to rise again—but this time, higher than ever before. We are called to move beyond survival, beyond crisis, and into the age of innovation, diplomacy, and unity. The Hye Diaspora Congress (HyeDc) is not just another organization. It is the cornerstone of a global Armenian awakening—an institution built to unite every Armenian, from the streets of Los Angeles to the neighborhoods of Paris, from Beirut to Buenos Aires, from Yerevan to Sydney.

Ask not what the Armenian nation can give you—ask what you can give to the Armenian nation.

Every one of us is called to action. Every one of us has a role. And together, we will reshape our destiny.

I have invested my entire life into this vision. Over two decades—countless hours, sleepless nights, and unyielding years—have been poured into shaping this technologically advanced, globally integrated cornerstone program. I have listened to voices from every corner of our diaspora. I will continue to listen—because true leadership begins with hearing the concerns, hopes, and ideas of the people it serves.

It is time for us to look back—honestly and respectfully—at the results of all past organizations, programs, and movements. We honor them. We acknowledge their achievements, their sacrifices, and the groundwork they laid. But the past must be a teacher, not a prison. We must carry forward the best of what was done, reshape the present with clarity, and perfect our future with unity and a common goal.

To all Armenian organizations, institutions, and community leaders—this is your invitation.

Joining HYEDC does not diminish your identity, independence, or achievements. On the contrary, it strengthens them. Together, we amplify your work, extend your reach, and multiply your impact. You will remain who you are, but with a stronger voice, a broader network, and the full power of a united global Armenian presence behind you. This is partnership, not replacement; this is unity, not competition.

We have a responsibility to help every young Armenian rise with intelligence, vision, and opportunity. Every Armenian family must be redefined by purpose. Our homes must be schools of heritage, strength, and leadership. We must prepare so that in the decades ahead, new leaders will emerge—leaders in every field, leaders in every nation. One day, perhaps even an Armenian President of the United States. This is not fantasy; it is the natural result of discipline, education, unity, and ambition.

We must rise with dreams. We must learn to prioritize our national mission and contribute willingly—effortlessly—because we understand that our collective success depends on each of us. As Churchill once said in his darkest hour, “We shall go on to the end… we shall never surrender.” For Armenians, this means we shall never surrender our identity, our unity, or our vision for a brighter tomorrow.

HYEDC is the vehicle for this transformation. Through its 21 robust departments—from Foreign Relations & Diplomacy to Education & Scientific Development, from Economic Affairs & Entrepreneurship to Cultural Preservation—we are building the infrastructure to protect our identity, strengthen our communities, and advance Armenian interests worldwide.

To the youth—I say: this is your moment. The torch is being passed to you, and with it the opportunity to build the strongest Armenian diaspora in history.
To our elders—I say: your wisdom is our compass. Your life’s work and sacrifices are the pillars that hold us steady.
To every Armenian in every land—I say: you are not alone, and together, we are unstoppable.

The time has come to organize our strength, modernize our strategies, and lead with the unity and vision our ancestors dreamed of. The time has come to rise—not only as a people who survived, but as a people who will thrive, influence, and lead.

History will remember what we choose to do in this moment. Let it remember that we chose unity over division, courage over fear, and action over words. Let it remember that we rose together and built a legacy worthy of our past and worthy of our children’s future.

This is our time. This is our duty. This is our destiny.
Join us. Join HyeDc. Let us rise—together.

With honor, respect, and unwavering commitment,

Davit Mnatsakanyan
