Community Development & Diaspora Networks

Connecting Communities, Uniting the Diaspora, Building One Global Armenian Network

Purpose

To serve as the community cohesion and global connectivity pillar of the Hye Diaspora Congress by strengthening local Armenian communities, integrating regional and thematic networks, and uniting the global diaspora into a coordinated, participatory, and resilient institutional system.

Mission

To empower Armenian communities worldwide by fostering organized community development, strong diaspora networks, and meaningful participation in the governance, programs, and long-term mission of the Hye Diaspora Congress.

Vision

A globally interconnected Armenian diaspora where local communities are strong, networks are unified, and every Armenian—regardless of location—has a voice, a role, and a path to participation in a shared global future.

Why This Department Matters

Diasporas do not function as nations unless their communities are connected.

Without structured community development:

  • Communities operate in isolation
  • Leadership becomes fragmented
  • Resources remain underutilized
  • Global coordination breaks down

This department ensures that Armenian communities are not disconnected islands, but part of a single global network—locally rooted, regionally organized, and globally aligned.

Community is the foundation of collective power.
